Mini Rides

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the full multi stage African Icons Invitational in Mpumalanga was postponed. However, in order to continue to support WOF & SAPSET, mini events were organised around the country.

2020 TOURVEST AFRICAN ICONS INVITATIONAL

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the full multi stage Tourvest African Icons Invitational in Mpumalanga was cancelled. However,

in order to continue to support WOF & SAPSET, nine one day events were organised around the country.

• Ride #8            MTB Ride at Riverstone Lodge in Johannesburg

The entry fee per rider is R 20,000 (see details below) and that will cover all the costs of staging the event.

YOUR ENTRY FEE INCLUDES:

• Welcome lunch with guest speaker
• Branded cycling and event kit (2 x cycling shirts, 2 x bib-shorts, a casual shirt and commemorative jacket)
• Accommodation for 5 nights
  Night of the 3rd October 2019 – Mdluli Safari Camp (pre-ride kick-off event)
  Night of the 4th October 2019 – Day 1 Mdluli Safari Camp
  Night of the 5th October 2019 – Day 2 Mdluli Safari Camp
  Night of the 6th October 2019 – Day 3 Bongani Mountain Lodge
  Night of the 7th October 2019 – Day 4 Bongani Mountain Lodge (Closing Event)
  8th October 2019 – Departure
• Breakfast, lunch on route and leadership dinners each day
• Full support team consisting of mechanics and a medical team with all nutrition provided on route
• Bike transport (drop-off/collection in Northriding)
• Airport transfer from Skukuza (if required)

YOUR ENTRY FEE EXCLUDES:

• Travel to the start and finish
• Bar costs

The entry fee per rider is R 28,750 (see details below) and that will cover all the costs of staging the event.
Upon entry each rider pledges to raise a further R 40,000 that will be donated in its entirety to the families and children that we are supporting.

YOUR ENTRY FEE INCLUDES:

• Welcome lunch with guest speaker Joel Stransky;
• Seats to watch the rugby test match between South Africa and Australia on 29 September 2018;
• Branded cycling and event kit (2 x cycling shirts, 2 x bib-shorts, a casual shirt and commemorative jacket);
• Accommodation for 7 nights in guesthouses, hotels and lodges from 29 September 2018 to 5 October 2018 inclusive;
• Breakfast, lunch on route and leadership dinners each day;
• Full support team consisting of mechanics and a medical team with all nutrition provided on route.

YOUR ENTRY FEE EXCLUDES:

• Travel and bike transportation to the start in Port Elizabeth and from the finish in Botrivier.
• Personal or family tours and excursions.
